Nikki Bush is widely respected for her advice and recommendations about appropriate toys and games for children. She is referred to as “an encouragingly sane voice in a wilderness of diverse commercial opinions about children, toys, parents and choices”. She has judged the South African Toy of the Year competition for five years, and is often consulted for advice by toy suppliers and distributors. Nikki has developed seven educational games including ones for leading industry brands such as Barney, Thomas and Barbie.
Nikki has a passion for play and looks at toys and games very differently. She watches the toy industry intently throughout the year and is well-known for her popular presentation Toy Talk (which started in 2006) at which she presents her short list of recommendations, taking the angst out of shopping for children during the gifting season. Micro Scooters available to order
There is no other scooter on the market like the Micro. It is unique because of its three wheels and lean and tilt steering mechanism. The two wheels at the front and one at the back make it sturdy and safe, providing a stable base for a child to step onto, while the steering action really enables the child to get the hang of shifting their body weight to change direction – great practice for cycling, surfing, skateboarding etc.
Extremely portable and light weight, the scooter comes apart in two pieces and will fit easily on top of a pram or in the boot of a car. The Swissdesign pays great attention to detail and the components are robust and of the highest quality. The brake at the back is easy to operate and efficient even on the steepest hills. It does not get hot and burn the foot like the brakes on other makes of scooters.
The Micro scooters are available in two designs: The MINI with the T-bar handle for 2 ½ to 5 year olds (available in red, green or yellow) and the MAXI with an adjustable telescope steering stick for children up to the age of 12 years (available in purple, orange or black).
