I will be doing 8 presentations of a new interactive talk called, Beyond the Nappy Bag, at The Baby Expo, being held at the Northgate Dome in Johannesburg from 14 – 17 May 2009.  You can catch me at the following times, or visit me at stand 34 in betweeen:

Beyond the Nappy Bag© highlights issues that mothers of children from 2 – 6 need to bear in mind during this phase of their child’s development and their parenting experience, It will help them to prioritise and plan the time they do spend with their children to make it count. I will touch on:

• building blocks of school readiness
• why children need stimulation – learning through play
• why you need to limit your child’s TV viewing
• on-screen media – marketing and brands
• playing on the run

My presentation will be 40 mins long and will include interactive play with some highly recommended games to illustrate the points I am making.  Press the pause button, bring your child and come and play with me.
